In 2017 the Doctoral Consortium will be held on Tuesday 25th April as part of the CIEHF’s Ergonomics & Human Factors conference, EHF2017, in Daventry. The day will consist of short student presentations, small group workshops, networking and will be facilitated by members of the Doctoral Consortium Programme Committee. You will also be able to attend Tuesday’s two key lectures as part of the main conference.
Submit an abstract
If you are a PhD student, you are invited to submit a short, 350 word abstract, providing a brief summary of your research and the topic about which you would like to talk at the Consortium. The deadline to submit your abstract is 22 January 2017.
Submit your abstract online now.
What happens if my abstract is accepted?
If your abstract is accepted, you will be invited to participate in the Consortium at which point you should book and pay for your attendance. The whole day will cost just £49 plus VAT and this will include refreshments and lunch. If you wish to book our special Gold Package option, this will include your attendance at the Doctoral Consortium. See this as an opportunity to get feedback on your work, whether it’s the theoretical framework that you are using or a specific study that you would like to present. You will also be welcome to bring along any technologies, systems or products that you are developing to demonstrate either during your talks or informally during the breaks and lunch interval.
