What your booking includes
Gold Package: 2 nights’ B&B accommodation (Tuesday and Wednesday), 3 days’ conference attendance including lunch and refreshments, dinner on Tuesday and the Annual Dinner on Wednesday, and a digital copy of the proceedings.
3 Day Package: 3 days’ conference attendance including lunch and refreshments, and a digital copy of the proceedings.
Single day rate: 1 days’ conference attendance including lunch and refreshments, and a digital copy of the proceedings.
Doctoral Consortium: 1 days’ attendance at the Consortium including lunch and refreshments, and entrance to 2 conference plenary lectures.
Annual Dinner: Awards celebration, 3 course dinner with wine, after dinner entertainment.

Optional Associate Membership
Every purchase of a non-member delegate place comes with a free optional Associate Membership of the Chartered Institute of Ergonomics & Human Factors. If you do not wish to take this up you can opt out of doing so during the booking process. Please note however that this will not affect the price. If you purchase the Gold Package or 3 Day Package you will receive 9 months’ membership, and if you purchase a single day you will receive 4 months’ membership. Please note too that this offer is not available to those that have taken up a similar offer from a previous CIEHF event.
To receive your CIEHF member discount from the standard non-member rates shown when you book, your CIEHF membership subscriptions must be paid up to date, and you will need to enter the members’ discount code which will be sent to you.
You can pay online using either PayPal or a credit/debit card. If you already have a PayPal account but choose to pay by credit/debit card instead, you must book with a different email address to the one associated with your PayPal account, otherwise you will get an error message at the end of your booking.
If you request an invoice instead, this will be emailed to you shortly after you register. If the invoice is issued within one month of the event, you will need to arrange payment immediately by bank transfer or over the phone. Details will be included with the invoice.

Terms and Conditions
Payment must be made in full prior to the event to guarantee admission. Bookings made within 30 days of the event require payment at the point of purchase by credit/debit card in order to ensure we receive payment before the event.
Substitutions & Cancellations
Delegates may nominate an alternative person from their organisation to attend up to 24 hours prior to the start of the event, at no extra charge. Should substitution not be possible, cancellation charges apply as follows:
– 8 weeks or more prior to start of event: 10% of the delegate fee
– 4 to 8 weeks prior to start of event: 50% of the delegate fee
– 4 weeks or less prior to start of event: 100% of the delegate fee
All substitutions and cancellations must be received in writing. Where the event fees include accommodation, we will attempt to refund the accommodation costs through the venue, however this is not always possible.
Use of your contact details
When registering to attend an event organised by the Chartered Institute of Ergonomics & Human Factors, the contact details you supply will be stored on our database in order that we may contact you regarding that event. We may also use these details to contact you in the future to advise of forthcoming events that may be of interest to you. The Institute will never give or sell your details to a third party.
